30.10.2024	Currently we are dismantling the second of three units (27 MW) at Almus HEPP in 🇹🇷, where Kochendorfer Hydro, in cooperation with Prof. Dr. Jaberg und Partner GmbH 🇦🇹 could develop an optimized runner profile for the changed head conditions, in order to have the units also in operation at lower head in a high efficiency range! This improvement, combined with the produced high quality runner at our own will increase the yearly production significant for our customer, where the new runner of the first unit is already since two years in operation.
30.10.2024	Official opening ceremony at Serra de Agua hydro electric powerplant in 🇵🇹 had been successfully completed, where Kochendorfer produced supplied and installed 2 vertical Pelton turbines with 5,4 MW output each! It was a pleasure to be part of this outstanding project in a very nice environment
30.10.2024	Replacement of the first vertical Francis Unit (in total 3), where each has an output of 10 MW, started in the southern part of 🇦🇱. Kochendorfer with it is partners will replace the Turbines, Generators and E-BoP, with state of the art and new developed hydraulic design and equipment, to increase the efficiency significant as well as to ensure a fault free operation in the future and higher yearly energy generation
15.10.2024	Installation of the 2 vertical Kaplan units in Hungary is ongoing - manufactured at our Kochendorfer TR DE facilities. This two new units will replace the outdated old turbines and with higher efficiency generate more green energy in the future.
12.10.2024	Another 4,5 MW 6 nozzle Pelton unit left our manufacturing facilities and is on the way to its final destination in Germany.
